Luxury and carrying on the tradition of elegance and grace are qualities that lie at the heart of the world class casino, The Ritz Club. It is now a privately owned, members only club located in London’s Piccadilly. The club is located in the former ballroom of the Ritz Hotel and is dedicate to upholding the finest element of gaming. Management insists on upholding consistent operating procedures that reflect the highest standards. Contrary to what many businesses seem to believe, reputation is hard won and and something to be protected and treasured. The rich and famous membership agree; and as a result, the reputation of The Ritz Club is as solid and fine as the buildings grand interiors.
In addition to the wonders of the casino, dining at The Ritz is a red letter day event. A fine tradition of afternoon tea is upheld, in the finest fashion. Freshly baked apple and raisin scones served with Devonshire clotted cream is one of the most popular items on the tea menu, followed by egg mayonnaise with cress sandwiches. A selection of teas graces the menu or patrons can indulge in a very fine cup of coffee. To avoid disappointment, book a table at least four weeks in advance. A formal dress code is in effect for all public areas of The Ritz Restaurant; under no circumstances will jeans and/or training shoes be permitted in these areas. Dressing appropriately is part and parcel of an elegance too seldom indulged in today’s world. For many families, afternoon tea at The Ritz is a tradition handed down from one generation to the next.
Afternoon tea is merely a starting point – The Ritz Club Restaurant is known internationally for its high standard of service and fabulous cuisine. An interesting fusion menu catering to a wide array of tastes has been carefully constructed to take diners on an exciting adventure of new flavors and uncommon ingredients. Guests may always order what they would like, regardless of whether the item is listed on the menu or not.
The elegant, wondrous mahogany bar of The Ritz Club has heard and kept more than its share of confidences. Members talk quietly with full confidence that their choice of drink or more in depth secrets will never be divulged.

Members of The Ritz Club have a great many things in common; the admiration and insistence on fine service and quality dining in a sophisticated atmosphere that both soothes frazzled nerves and provides mental stimulation. The gaming tables in the casino provide the opportunity for members to improve their powers of observation and sharpen their memory skills by pitting themselves against the casino operator. This is done in the most gentlemanly fashion; the ultimate goal is to spend an enjoyable evening in a lovely atmosphere, mull over the day sharing a drink with other members, and indulge in the adrenalin rush provided by the games.
The main room consist of four American Roulette tables, four Blackjack tables, one table for Three Card Poker, two tables for Casino Stud Poker, and a single table for Punto Banco. With the exception of American Roulette – the most popular of any of the casino games – all the games involve cards and various levels of skill and concentration. Blackjack is considered to involve the greatest amount of skill and each hand ultimately results in the decision to stay or draw. Casino Poker also involves a decision; players must decide to stay or fold. This form of poker is played with five cards unlike its simpler cousin, Three Card Poker. This is the newest game to The Ritz Club and is steadily increasing in popularity.
Regardless of the current wave of popularity that has encompass Poker in all its many forms, American Roulette epitomizes all that is elegant and graceful in a casino. The image of well dressed men and women gathered around a spinning wheel, watching the outcome with breathless anticipation is the stuff dreams and an older, more sophisticated cinema are made of.
