Casino at the empire

The Casino at the Empire spices up Leicester Square in London with a fancy atmosphere and high rolling groups of people.

There are many reasons to visit the Casino at the Empire. If you want some authentic Central London glamour, make the Casino at the Empire your spot to get to. Even if you can’t afford to gamble away your hard-earned salary at the slots every night of the week, be sure to save up for a special occasion – it will be one gamble you won’t regret taking one bit.

Built over two floors of unabashed extravagance, there are plenty of interesting places to explore – and just as many to part with your money. The main lower level is where all the magic happens, with all kinds of gaming tables and plenty of slot machines if you’re not up to snuff on reading the cards. There is also a private poker room where you can match your skills against some of London’s best. If you prefer not to gamble or can’t afford to give it a shot, there are still lots of things to do here. Wander around the Casino at the Empire and you’ll eventually find the two restaurants and three bars and lounge areas. In addition, you just might lcoate a VIP room or two.

Don’t miss the chance to people watch. High rollers are sure to be seen preening about at the Casino at the Empire. Expect plenty of ritzy Londoners in glitzy gowns and attractive suits, a huge contrast to the clothes worn by many of the peopel wandering around poor Leicester Square. You will probably want to dress your best if don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb amongst the sparkling chandeliers, graceful staircases and glimmering showgirls lounging with oversized cocktail glasses.

On the upper floor you will find the Shadow Bar, which hosts live performances by bands and DJs all year around, which means you can do your thing on the light-up dance floor. Every kind of music from jazz to pop is played here, depending on the night, so there will always be enough variety to keep everyone happy. On the weekends there’s also special performances by the showgirls, so make sure you hang around to see what show they put on in the evenings.

Guests can also relax and kick back at one of the The Casino at the Empire’s two fine restaurants, Flame. This luxurious grill specialises in all kinds of meat, and Fu Lu Shou, a laid back noodle bar features great Asian fare. After all that food you will probably want something sweet, so head to the other side of the room to Mocha, an charming ice cream boutique where you can invent your own flavours by mixing ice cream and a mammoth variety of toppings.

As far as alcohol is concerned, the friendly bar staff will mix up just about anything you ask for, but as long as you’re having a good time you might as well order some fine drinks. Sweet and fruity martinis complete with a white tipped glass, or just some good old fashioned champagne is available. Either way, what better way to celebrate your big win?

Like any other London casino, the Casino at the Empire requires a legal membership to enter. Fortunately, this can be easily attained by sharing your valid ID such as a driver’s license or passport. Membership applications are also filled out and turned in.
